Weekly Photo Challenge: Super Close-up
This weeks subject was suggested by TressaD Super Close-up Everyone is welcome to join in. All you have to do is post one or more photos regarding this subject on your site and comment here that you have posted, so we can all come by and have a look. Each Friday there will be a new challenge as long as you keep sending in subjects.
The photo challenge is not a contest. It's not about who comes up with the best photo or who has the most expensive equipment. I would like it to be about people from all over the world who love taking pictures. I think there's enough competition going on in the world, so you can't win anything, except maybe some new xanga friends.
Have fun!
Playing with my camera; just because I could.
Our old camera bit the dust so we got a new camera and I was playing with the Macro setting.
I was in the doctor's office and my kids had my phone. This is what I came back to. This was taken with the Solari setting. Cool, isn't it?
We have these rose bushes that grow beautiful roses in spite of me. This is the first one I noticed this spring, taken on Memorial Day.
Have a wonderful 4th of July! Thank You to all of our men and women who are currently serving and who have served in our Armed Forces to make sure that we keep our freedoms. God bless you all.

Very nice pictures... so creative! Have a great Independence Day with those you love!
Nice ideas and nice shots, i always like photos of cameras .
Your kids took a way cool photo! : ) Beautiful roses you have in your yard, too.
I had exactly that Nikon too! It was terrible in low light but it still works and my son uses it now.
The rose is beautiful.
@Zimbo - I can't claim the Nikon...though I sure would like to! It's my niece's camera and I was using it as a model. It always posed just right, haha!
@WakeUpLaughing - Thanks! Those roses grow despite being in my yard, haha! We moved into our house in October and that crazy bush bloomed way into November that year (in Indiana, no less.)
Great shots.
Good collection – and happy 4th (from a liberated Brit).
