Today is Works-For-Me Wednesday. It is an every week event hosted by Shannon . Normally I would have the opportunity to offer up my sage wisdom for you, my readers. But since it is Backwards Edition day, I get to ask YOU for your advice. So here goes. What is your favorite thermal-activated setting spray?
I have very fine hair that won't style without lots of product. I have a favorite product that I am currently using, but it is quite pricy and since I am still unemployed
I need to find something that is a better value. I am also very sensitive to smells, so it cannot have a strong fragrance. There you go: great hold, not much smell, great price. I'm not asking for much, eh? It's not a recipe for World Peace...but it's the best I can do!I'm also still trying to find the wonder product that will remove my soap-scum/limescale residue from my shower fixtures. I prefer a product that comes pre-mixed as opposed to mixing up my own concoction. I'll also don rubber gloves and open the windows if necessary. So please let me know if you've found something that you like that works for you.
Have a good day and please remember to pray for Richard.

I am partial to Biolage thermal active setting spray, but it has been a while since I've used it. It may come on sale at JCPenney's salon.
Have you ever tried Method's Bathroom spray? I'm not sure how it would handle lime though. I don't deal with lime enough to know. Oh, BarKeeper's friend does work awesome if you don't mind rinsing.
Hi. Saw you on my footprints and thought I'd check you out. I relate to the need to find something to hold a hairstyle in place thing. I found short sexy hair goop and it works excellent. A little dab will do ya kind of stuff. I actually saw it in our super walmart in the hairdresser nook where they do hair. Not sure if they have it in the regular section in the hair care products or not. I got mine at my hairdresser and not sure what she charged me for it. But at Walmart I see it's 9 dollars for a tub of it. Might sound like a lot for the size but it really is great stuff and it holds ALL DAY AND NIGHT!!!! As for the getting rid of lime I've used a number of products. The best is -- in this order --- Kaboom (don't have to scrub, just spray on and leave a few minutes and then wipe and rinse) Lime-a-way (if you can soak stuff in it it works best, otherwise you have to do a bit of scrubbing) and someone told me about vinager but I found it didn't do what was promised. I also heard that Vodka is good for that but didn't feel like trying that one out. Kaboom is cheap and works best for me. I had an old tub that I used almost every cleaner on that said "no scrubbing" and Kaboom was the ONLY thing that really delivered what it promised AND...it doesn't hurt surfaces. So there you go. Let me know what you think if you use anything I suggested. God bless you ~~ janet
